Topics include the CALMS framework, Lean thinking, automation, continuous delivery, measuring performance, feedback loops and knowledge sharing. You discover how these principles contribute to more stable delivery, shorter lead times and better customer value.
Throughout the training, you work with practical examples and recognisable situations from modern IT and delivery organisations. This means you not only understand the theory behind DevOps, but also gain insight into how organisations apply these principles in practice and where they commonly encounter challenges.
The instructor-led format offers plenty of room for interaction, discussion and sharing practical experience with the trainer and fellow participants. In the self-paced format, you cover the same content flexibly at your own pace.

About the exam
The training prepares you for the official DASA DevOps Fundamentals certification exam.
The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 60 minutes. It is closed book and taken online. A score of at least 65% is required to pass.
Once the course is complete and your attendance has been confirmed, you will receive access to the exam. On passing, you will receive an internationally recognised certificate from DASA.

On completing the training, you receive an official certificate of attendance for DASA DevOps Fundamentals.
On successfully passing the official exam, you receive the internationally recognised DASA DevOps Fundamentals certificate from DASA DevOps.
This certificate confirms your knowledge of DevOps principles, culture, collaboration, automation and continuous improvement within modern organisations.

What is the difference between the instructor-led and self-paced formats?
The content and certification are the same. With the instructor-led format, you follow the training live with a trainer and other participants, either in person or virtually. The self-paced format is completed entirely online at your own pace.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. The training is suited to both technical and non-technical professionals involved in delivery, operations, collaboration or digital transformation.
Is this training only relevant for IT?
No. Although DevOps often originates in IT, it is fundamentally about collaboration, flow and continuous improvement across the whole organisation. The training is therefore relevant for delivery managers, team leads and transformation professionals as well.
What language does the training have?
The training can be delivered in Dutch or English. The official course materials and exam are in English.
How long does the training take?
The instructor-led format runs over 2 days. The self-paced format can be completed flexibly online at your own pace.
