Content
Many software teams use Scrum but find that technical challenges, dependencies, and quality issues continue to disrupt the flow. Releases take a long time, technical debt grows, and teams struggle to deliver software quickly and reliably.
In this training, you will experience how Scrum and modern software development reinforce each other. Throughout the course, you will work continuously in a Scrum team on realistic software development assignments and simulations. As a result, you will not only discover how Scrum works, but especially how engineering practices contribute to better collaboration, higher quality, and faster feedback.
Topics covered include Scrum, teamwork, Definition of Done, continuous integration, test automation, DevOps, engineering practices, technical quality, and empiricism. You will experience how Development Teams collaborate on software development, continuous improvement, and value delivery.
The training is highly hands-on and practice-oriented. You learn by developing software together, receiving feedback, solving problems, and reflecting immediately on collaboration and technical choices within the team.
In the open enrollment sessions, additional depth is created as participants bring experiences and insights from various software teams, technologies, and organizations. As an in-company training, APS-SD specifically helps teams collectively build better engineering practices, collaboration, and software quality within their own development environment.
