DASA DevOps Coach
Many organisations invest in Agile, DevOps and digital transformation. Yet the biggest challenge is rarely the technology — it’s the people. Teams struggle to collaborate, departments work in silos, and change moves more slowly than expected. Good intentions are usually there, but without the right coaching, old patterns persist.
Without effective coaching, organisations end up with communication problems, organisational silos, and decision-making that can’t keep up with the pace modern organisations need. DevOps initiatives stall and the connection between business and IT falls short.
This is exactly where the DevOps Coach makes a difference. Not as a project manager or line manager, but as someone who guides people, teams and organisations. A DevOps Coach helps teams grow, promotes collaboration, supports leadership and creates the conditions for continuous improvement to take hold.
The DASA DevOps Coach training helps you step into this role with confidence. You develop the skills, mindset and behaviours needed to guide organisations through change, apply DevOps principles effectively and build a culture of learning, experimentation and ownership.
You can take this training as self-paced online learning. When you register through Connected Movement, you get access to the official DASA learning platform and can work through the material at your own pace. We also offer this training as instructor-led training — in-person, virtual or as private training.
Who is this training for?
This training is designed for professionals actively involved in change, collaboration and organisational development. Think Agile Coaches, Lean Coaches, DevOps Coaches and Scrum Masters who want to develop their coaching skills further within a DevOps context.
DevOps team members looking to move into a coaching role will also find this training a valuable next step. The content helps them support not only technical improvement, but also behavioural and cultural change.
This training is also relevant for managers, IT leaders, change agents and professionals responsible for Agile or DevOps initiatives within their organisation. They gain insight into how coaching can contribute to lasting change and better outcomes.
In short: you don’t just want to understand how DevOps works — you want to learn how to help people, teams and organisations make change stick.
What will you learn during this training?
You start by exploring the evolution from Agile to DevOps and deepening your understanding of the DASA DevOps Principles. This builds a shared foundation of what successful DevOps organisations are built on.
You then develop the mindset and skills of a DevOps Coach. You learn to work with coaching for performance and coaching for change, and explore how different coaching styles can be applied depending on the situation. Coaching, mentoring, facilitation and consulting are all covered in depth.
The training also covers team coaching, team development, organisational development and DevOps transformation. You learn how teams evolve, how to guide them towards higher performance, and how to support organisations in realising lasting change. Topics such as value stream analysis, automation and tooling are also explored within the broader transformation context.
