DASA DevOps Enable and Scale
Many organisations have taken their first steps with DevOps. Teams are automating more, collaborating more closely and delivering value faster. Yet a new challenge often emerges as DevOps is rolled out more widely across the organisation. What works well within a single team does not automatically scale to multiple teams, departments or value streams.
At that stage, technical questions are increasingly replaced by organisational ones. How do you create ownership? How do you encourage collaboration between teams? How do you ensure that leadership, governance and culture contribute to flow rather than slow it down?
The DASA DevOps Enable and Scale Certification Programme helps professionals better understand and address these challenges. The training focuses on the human and organisational side of DevOps and shows how teams, leaders and organisations can grow together towards a more effective way of working.
There is no single framework or method at the centre. The focus is on developing the skills, behaviours and insights needed to make DevOps successful at scale. Topics such as team development, servant leadership, continuous improvement, stakeholder management and customer-focused value creation form a consistent thread throughout.
You can take this training as self-paced online learning. When you register through Connected Movement, you get access to the official DASA learning platform and can work through the material at your own pace. We also offer this training as instructor-led training — in-person, virtual or as private training.
Who is this training for?
This training is designed for professionals involved in software development, IT operations, service management and digital product development who play an active role in improving collaboration and value delivery within their organisation.
Leaders, managers, architects and change practitioners who want to take DevOps beyond tooling and automation will also find valuable insights here. The content helps develop a clearer understanding of how culture, leadership and team dynamics contribute to successful DevOps implementations.
Organisations looking to scale DevOps across multiple teams, departments or value streams will equally benefit from the topics covered in this training.
In short: you want to go beyond understanding what DevOps is — you want to learn how to apply it successfully in practice.
What will you learn during this training?
During the training, you explore which factors contribute to successful DevOps teams and how those factors can be strengthened as an organisation grows. Topics covered include team development, team building, governance, leadership and continuous improvement.
You will also go deeper into servant leadership, stakeholder management, customer-focused value creation and creating an environment where teams can collaborate and learn effectively. Developing courage, trust and ownership within teams is also addressed.
Theory is combined with practical assignments, reflection and discussion, so participants not only understand the concepts but also learn to apply them within their own working environment.
After this training
You will come away with a better understanding of the organisational, cultural and human factors that determine whether DevOps implementations succeed at scale.
You will have developed insight into topics such as team development, servant leadership, stakeholder management, governance, continuous improvement and customer-focused value creation — and understand how these topics reinforce one another within a DevOps environment.
As a result, you will be better placed to support teams, improve collaboration and foster an organisational culture where continuous improvement and flow are central.
You can also join the Connected Movement Community, where professionals share experiences, insights and practical examples around DevOps, Agile, Lean, Portfolio Management and organisational development.
