Many Product Owners work in an environment where expectations are high, priorities are constantly shifting and stakeholders have different interests. At the same time, there is growing pressure to deliver value faster, prioritize better and make clear product choices.
In this training, you will learn how to effectively direct product development within Scrum as a Product Owner. You will gain insight into topics such as product vision, stakeholder management, Product Backlog management, value-driven prioritization, empiricism and Agile product management. In the process, you’ll discover how Product Owners connect strategy and execution to make products successful.
Topics covered include Product Goals, customer value, backlog refinement, working with stakeholders, Sprint Reviews and measuring product value. In addition, you will learn how Product Owners make choices that contribute to sustainable product development and better customer outcomes.
The training is highly practical and interactive. Through exercises, case studies and real-life examples, you will actively work on situations that Product Owners encounter on a daily basis within modern product organizations.

About the exam
Upon completion of the training, you will receive an exam voucher for Scrum.org’s official Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) assessment. The online exam consists of multiple choice questions and focuses on Scrum, Product Ownership, Product Backlog management, stakeholder management and value-driven product development.
If you take the exam within 14 days and do not pass with at least 85%, you will receive a second exam opportunity from Scrum.org at no additional cost.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the assessment, you will receive the internationally recognized Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) certificate from Scrum.org.
The certification confirms your knowledge of Product Ownership, Scrum and Agile product management. Scrum.org certifications have no expiration date.
