This is where the Obeya Coach plays a key role. The Coach supports teams, leaders and organisations in developing the right mindset, applying the Obeya Principles and achieving lasting change.

In this training, you will learn how to support organisations in implementing, improving and scaling Obeya. You will explore how to help people see Obeya not as a tool, but as a way of strengthening collaboration, alignment and continuous improvement.

Who is this training for?

This training is designed for experienced professionals who support organisations through change, organisational development and improving collaboration and performance.

You will get the most from this training if you work as an Agile Coach, Lean Coach, consultant, change manager, programme manager, Obeya professional or leader, and are responsible for guiding teams and organisations in achieving lasting improvements.

This training is particularly valuable for organisations that want to apply Obeya more broadly and ensure the approach becomes a genuine part of everyday practice. You will learn how to help people adopt new ways of working and achieve lasting results.

Simply put: you want not only to understand how Obeya works, but to learn how to help others succeed with it.

What will you learn during this training?

During the training, you will learn how to support organisations in implementing, developing and improving Obeya. You will explore how to use the Obeya Principles to strengthen collaboration, alignment and continuous improvement.

You will also develop skills in coaching, facilitation, change management and organisational development. You will learn how to support teams and leaders in building new behaviours and sustaining Obeya over time.

Using practical examples, exercises and reflection, you will work through situations you are likely to encounter as a coach in organisations. This helps you develop the skills to guide Obeya programmes successfully and help them grow.

After this training

After completing the training, you will understand how Obeya can be used as a vehicle for organisational development and continuous improvement. You will know how to guide teams, leaders and organisations in applying the Obeya Principles successfully.

You will also have developed practical coaching skills to support people in building ownership, collaboration and continuous learning. You will understand how change happens and how to help organisations embed new ways of working that last.

You will be better equipped to support organisations in building an Obeya culture where strategy, execution and improvement are continuously connected.

You will also be able to join the Connected Movement community, where practitioners share experiences, insights and practical examples around Obeya, Agile, Lean, Portfolio Management and organisational development.

About the exam

After completing the training, you can sit the official Obeya Coach exam run by the Obeya Association.

The exam assesses whether you have the knowledge and skills to support organisations in applying the Obeya Principles and developing effective Obeya practices.

If you pass, you receive the official Obeya Coach accreditation from the Obeya Association.

Certification

Upon successfully completing the official Obeya Coach exam, you will receive the internationally recognised Obeya Coach accreditation from the Obeya Association.

This accreditation demonstrates that you have the knowledge and skills to support teams, leaders and organisations in implementing, improving and sustaining Obeya.

After certification, you will also receive an official digital badge from the Obeya Association, which you can use on LinkedIn, your CV and other professional profiles.

Do I need prior experience with Obeya before taking this training?

What is the difference between Obeya Coach, Obeya Host and Obeya Builder?

The Builder focuses on designing the Obeya, the Host on facilitating Obeya sessions, and the Coach on supporting teams, leaders and organisations in applying Obeya successfully.

How practical is this training?
