Myra van Zwieten is an organisational psychologist, an expert in Role Clarity and founder of De Goede Werker. Her mission is to help professionals and organisations get the best out of themselves by creating working environments where people can deliver good work and take responsibility for its quality.
As an advisor, researcher, team coach and facilitator, Myra supports organisations with questions around collaboration, leadership, culture and job satisfaction. Role Clarity is central to her approach. She believes that many organisational challenges stem from unclear roles, responsibilities and expectations. Together with Connected Movement, she puts Role Clarity on the map within Agile, project-based and hybrid organisations.
Myra has a broad background in education, research and organisational development. Early in her career, she worked as a lecturer in higher education, where she built a strong foundation in developing and delivering effective training. She also carried out academic research into how responsibilities are divided within multi-professional collaborations, and worked with her team to develop the Role Mapper Method.
Her training style can be summed up in three words: appreciative, engaging and visual. Participants build on their existing knowledge and experience, are actively involved in the learning process, and are given complex topics in a clear and visual way. This results in training that not only builds understanding but is also directly applicable in day-to-day practice.
What Myra enjoys most about training is that no two groups are the same. The interaction, unexpected questions and new perspectives keep her sharp and help her keep developing. This energy and curiosity form the basis of her training sessions, workshops and coaching programmes.
