Jeroen Jan Elzinga is co-founder and CEO of Connected Movement. His passion lies in developing people, teams and organisations by making knowledge sharing, collaboration and practical application central to everything they do.
The foundations for his thinking on leadership and collaboration were laid early — through scouting. Ownership, trust, accountability and achieving results together were central to that experience. Many of these principles are now widely recognised within Agile working practices and modern leadership. Supporting people in their development and creating environments where they can grow remain the thread running through all his work.
Growing demand for training and professional guidance led Jeroen to join forces with co-founders Maarten Sterrenburg and Sebastiaan Zuiddam — an initiative that grew into Connected Movement. What started as a collaboration between a small group of professionals has since grown into a network of more than 150 experts working as trainers, consultants and knowledge practitioners.
A defining principle of Connected Movement is the belief that learning doesn’t end when a training does. Formal knowledge development is combined with a strong network in which professionals continue to inspire, challenge and support one another. That idea gave rise to the motto: Growing Solutions Together.
While Connected Movement has strong roots in Agile and SAFe, the organisation has grown into a broad platform for professional development. The network supports organisations across Agility, DevOps, leadership, organisational development, AI, Product Management, mindset and a wide range of other disciplines in which its affiliated experts actively work.
Alongside training, Connected Movement is placing increasing emphasis on consultancy, Micro Consulting, secondment and community building. Together, these create an ecosystem where knowledge, experience and practice reinforce one another.
